Freestyle Sessions brings a night of live music and performance to Port Hope

An open and experimental space where musicians, vocalists, storytellers, and poets come together to create without boundaries. Artists arrive as strangers but leave as friends and collaborators.

Our first gathering in February 2025 appealed to musicians and audiences because there were no rules and no pressure to ‘perform’. In fact, it was a chance to collaborate, improvise and push creative limits alongside other artists. 

Due to the success of the pilot, Freestyle Sessions has grown into a regular event. Each edition improves on those before because regulars become more familiar with each other, and our artist base is growing due to the buzz on the scene.
