Eid in Kings Heath

Eid in Kings Heath is our annual Eid event, returning for a spectacular third year in 2025

For three years now thousands gathered at to celebrate Eid and their differences. The square transformed into a hub of visual art, music, and food. Everyone was welcome.A carefully curated selection of vendors by our Artistic Director Mohammed Ali, brought an eclectic mix of local business to the All Saints Square.

Attendees enjoyed smash burgers from Beardus Burger and crispy chicken tenders from Dairy King, while Raja Monkey’s Indian-style gyros quickly became a crowd favourite. Freshly fired pizza from Pizzamo kept slices in high demand, alongside sweet treats from The Milk cake Man and handcrafted gelato lollies from LA POP. The Dutch Fish Man served up golden seafood straight from the fryer, and The Mocktail Lab offered up refreshing, flavour-packed mixes.

Adding to the atmosphere, the art programme brought colour and energy to every corner of the square. Live painters and graffiti artists created striking pieces in real time, while interactive workshops invited people of all ages to pick up a brush and get involved. Music and dance performances flowed through the day, turning All Saints Square into a vibrant, open-air celebration of creativity and culture.

In 2025, Eid in Kings Heath introduced a significant new chapter with its first-ever evening indoor performance, held within the historic All Saints Church, offering audiences a moment of stillness and depth within the day’s vibrant celebrations.

Attendees gathered in an intimate setting to experience a live performance led by renowned classical musician Gulfam Sabri, accompanied by Flautist Ali Share and Birmingham’s poet Laureate Ayan Moden. The space was transformed into a sanctuary of sound, where traditional instruments, poetic vocals, and global rhythms created an atmosphere of quiet reflection and spiritual resonance.
